I did this ink drawing a while ago and I've had it hanging on my wall. The more I look at it the more I like it so i decided to have some prints made. The tiny surfer dropping down the face of a dark wave. It sums up surfing in Scotland in winter. The water can be dark and menacing and the sky broody but it all adds to the drama.When a surfer gets it right he is harnessing that powerful energy and using it to his own end.
